Also, when we asked for some more bath towels around 7 pm, the person at the desk told us she could only give us pool towels, which I took, but was disappointed that one of us would have to use that for our shower!

If you've stayed at an original Guesthouse Inn with spacious rooms, open interior corridors, pristine swimming pool and breakfast bar with yogurt and fruit.

The truly "tightwad" owners of the hotel do in fact meter out food during the skimpy continental breakfast.

At first I thought is very thoughtful for someone from the hotel staff to tend to us in the breakfast but found that it is obviously a way to ration out and control the food.

One thing that really bugged me: they advertise a pretty good breakfast until 9.

The pool and jacuzzi area was a big hit with the kids but this adult noticed that the whole area needed a complete renovation as is was rusting, run down and needed more chairs.

On the plus side, the indoor pool was very warm and clean, which is nice in January, and we had it to ourselves.
