The hotel is located just outside the city centre which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Very clean, with nice views of the surroundings. A particular mention for Mr Claudio who was extremely helpful and provided excellent suggestions. Will come back.

It offers excellent service. Hotel's breakfast is delicious and great with all the delicious vegetables and very fresh savoury, for instance. All the stuff members are caring and competent. As for me, the location is perfect and magnificent, in the Port of Ischia.

The hotel's location is ideal, close to the Ischia port but far enough away so that you are not able to hear any traffic noise. Situated on top of a hill overlooking the sea, the views are absolutely breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with firm beds and a well-functioning AC. The staff provide excellent service, always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the rooftop terrace and pool area are perfect for relaxing.

The spa facilities could use some improvement. The water in the pools is cloudy and the whole area feels dark and dingy.

The Hotel Grifo de Charme is a very contemporary and stylish hotel, is maintained to a high standard and looks brand new. The level of service is extremely high and the hotel staff were all extremely pleasant and willing to help us get the best out of our stay. We enjoyed the hotel a good deal and the Island of Ischia. It is worth hiring a car to get the most out of the island, although the hotel staff were more than willing to give us lifts into Ischia town whenever we wanted. We would recommend the hotel to anyone seeking high quality accommodation in quiet sorroundings.

Everything!!! Alberto, Niko and the entire staff were amazing! My wife and I felt very welcomed and the personal attention from the staff was outstanding. Even though our Italiano was "picolo", every need was attended to. Shuttle service, room service and the meals were exceptional. Rather than tour the island on our first trip to Italy, we just decided to relax at the Grifo and it was the best 2 days of our trip so far. The pool, spa and sauna were great. It was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely recommnd "full board" as the evening dinner was thye best of our trip! The Grifo was definitely a "10"!

The breakfast and dinner buffets were absolutely incredible, with an impressive variety of dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel's cleanliness was top-notch. The annex rooms were basic but clean and had a nice patio area. The free shuttle service to the town and ferry terminal was a convenient and much-appreciated amenity. The spa and mineral pool were a great bonus for relaxation. the hotel provided EXCELLENT service, amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Walking up the hill or paying for taxis to get to the hotel from the main road - the hotel offers transfers but not after 9pm. Rooms are basic, wi-fi is only available in lobby.

My wife and I stayed there in April and loved it so much that we have decided to return in July. Extremely friendly, hospitable and charming staff. Beautiful views of woodland, mountains and the sea from our balcony. Very quiet and relaxing place. 10 mins from main port.
