Greenwoods Estate Spa & Retreat Stock

In a very private location, fast food outlets are cleaner then this place and good value for money - i imagine you pay separately for bedrooms.

Well these were just discusting, yellow and as hard as a rock and we were told there was no slippers left so we had to walk around bare foot all day!

It is worth taking a cab trip to one of the other hotels – please read other reviews of this hotel which back this up.

The bed in our room was in fact two singles pushed together with one sheet and cover over it, the beds were on wheels so had to be pushed together a few times.

The room was not bad and the bathroom good but no sign of the promised towling robes and slippers.

The spa reception were a little less friendly and bed was very comfortable.

We were woken by noisy guests staggering into their room (the willow suite) at 1.

The only thing I can fault is the bed was not the most comfortable, but it didnt spoil the stay.

Food was good, we had a 3 course evening meal and breakfast included in the deal.

The food in the restaurant was really nice- and the staff were all great.

3 course evening meal shoulder and back massarge use of all faclitites and breakfast of your choice.

3 courses HOT FOOD nice relaxing atmosphere and a full english breakfast the following morning was the same we have NO complaints with this hotel spa or resturant only praise.

The restaurant was a tad expensive but the food was good if a little bit slow.

The girls in reception were lovely, the room itself was clean and drinks not too bad on price - service from evening bar staff was good.

I asked for some slippers, and the receptionist (A) who I dont think belongs in a customer service position, not looking the part and (B) her attitude, slammed the slippers on the reception as if I had asked her for the impossible!

True what they say about the reception staff, completely blurred vision when it comes to customer service, vacant expressions and very unhelpful with a hint of attitude.

Definitely a great place, waiter staff freindly and friendly and knowledgeable receptionist.

The Spa facilities were very good, nice square pool with a suna,steam room and a jacuzzi.

The SPA area was lovely, my friend and I were equally excited to use the pool and Jacuzzi.

The gym was small but well equipped and the pool and spa area were not too overcrowded with plenty of loungers available to relax on.

The hotel public areas are clean and the rooms are lovely.

On my wedding day the staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean.

The staff were all very friendly, the room was out standing very lush clean comfortable and breakfast was very good.

They did clean the room the following day and offered to move us back but the room still wasn't as clean as you would expect and we didn't really want to move again, after all we were meant to be having a relaxing weekend.

We didn't really make a great fuss other than getting them to refund the extra we had paid for the upgrade on our room it was quite clear that no one at the Hotel care whether we had had a nice weekend or not.
