The setting was absolutely perfect, really close to soap to the Holiday Home Tour of Elsah, all that-upon entering the village of Elsah and the center. Furthermore, in the STL or southern Illinois area.

Our room was beautifully decorated and had nice furniture, including a TV.

This hotel in a quaint village exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was superb, from the extremely clean rooms to the comfortable beds. We were welcomed with homemade treats and the common room with a cozy fireplace was a nice touch. The owners' genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast, oh my! It was to die for! The homemade goodies and the 5-star breakfast with the option for seconds had us beyond pleased with our stay.

The breakfast and afternoon snacks were amazing. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby towns which were just a short drive away. The view from the hotel room was breathtaking and it was waking up to that view was a nice treat.

The bathroom was a bit small, and it was difficult to move around when using it with two people. the bed was too soft for my taste and I had trouble sleeping.
