Grecotel Creta Palace Rethymno - 罗希姆诺

Perfect location on the beach, a lovely hotel and the staff was friendly.

We arrived at the airport and after some confusion found our Taxi.

The hotel is located about 4km from the centre of the town and we took the local bus or taxis to the town as it was difficult to walk on the beach and there were no paths on the main road.

The room that we were originally given was very small and the decoration/fittings in both the bedroom and en-suite was rather tired.

The bathroom was fully tiled, large with a shower over the bath.

The rooms are beautiful arranged and room service is doing a good job twice a day.

The bathroom had been renovated and was very modern whereas the room was a bit dated, still nice but not as nice as the bathroom.

The town itself is very nice with loads of bar and restaurants.

The food was not top-class but better than average except for the lunch at the main restaurant Labyrinth which was average.

The Pasta Fresca restaurant is quite expensive and tehy only take off EUR 11 per person if you are on half board but teh food is really very good.

The good points are that you have a beautiful sunset (and you can see it from teh beach bar), the staff is very good trying to help you with all requests and we found teh food quite good.

Fortunately enough you can eat outisde for breakfast & dinner, but this is the smooking area.

Furthermore the staff in the hotel were very helpful, the decoration of the guestroom was stylish and the service was very good.

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and we received a welcome drink at reception and were escorted to our room.

Also the service of the Hotel-staff was super and our Junior Suite was nicely furnished.

The reception staff were very apologetic and we were given a bungalow suite with private pool, wine, fruit etc, all very nice but we just wanted to get unpacked and start to enjoy our holiday.

The swimming pool, although salt water, was large, there was also a small indoor pool and a freshwater pool, just a little away from the complex.

The hotel is situated just on the beach which is very nice so the hotel, pool and beach are just beside each other.

On other we sat around the pool for a relaxing drink.

Our room was clean,spacious,with a view to die for!
