Hotel Granvia Hiroshima - 广岛

Only stayed for one night so wanted a location close to the station.

The Granvia was super convenient due to its location just outside the main train station, although very average in all other respects.

It is a fairly easy walk to the hotel from the platforms and there are signs indicating it's location.

Taxis are plentiful and the Green Mover tram frequent.

It was really nice not to have to take a taxi or drag our bags onto trolleys or buses to get to the hotel.

High quality bed sheet, staff were freindly and room service was also good.

The bathrooms were fully stocked with all the essentials, and had a "bidet"-style toilet which we fell in love with (it's like having a mini-bath each time you sit down)!

Amenities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed lunch in the top floor restaurant, which provided excellent quality set menus from about 2000 yen (£10) and great cocktails with lovely views and atmosphere.

The shopping centre also has several restaurants on the top floor including Italian & McDonalds if you fancy a change from Japanese food.

Large lobby, the cost was reasonable for a very good hotel right at the main station and the staff at the front desk were helpful.

Must have been lucky as the room size was not an issue in this hotel and the facilities sparkling clean.
