This hotel is not 5 star but the prices are you are looking at 6 euros for a coke and 14 euros for a milk shake.
Save your money or spend it elsewhere; do not fall for the hype on this so-called hotel.
If you have the choice go here when it's slightly quieter and try and stay on the west coast (the East side is noisier and the main hotel rooms looked tiny from the outside )As regards prices it is expensive but we expected that.
Plus large balcony overlooking the sea, fantastic location and the hotel is located in a beautiful peninsula.
Offers magnificent view from all angles and hugely memorable stay in a beautiful location.

Unbelievable extras on the bill which I had to FIGHT to prove were not mine, calls I never made, taxis that I never ordered, minibar drinks and food that I never took!
We did try to go off the resort one night, but the cost of the taxi and then being ripped off at the restuarant basically told us to stay on the resort!
It took nearly 24 hours for the hotel to offer me another option which was a beautiful, contemporary, one bedroom suite (The Ambassador) with a separate lounge, dressing room and huge bathroom.
So we all stayed, cramped in the Ambassador suite, took 'turns' in the bathroom and got woken throughout the night if anyone needed the toilet as they had to come through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.
The service is a disaster (we waited 48 hours to have lights by the bed, the room cleaning came in the room at 8:00 am to ask if they could make up the room.
40 euros for pasta with butter for the kids), the swimming pool is depressive, only one man by the beach for towels and beds, people at the reception are not friendly, it is impossible to store clothes in the room due to the size of the furniture.
On one hand, the rooms are enormous; fitted gym, steam room alongside gigantic jacuzzis and lemony soft towels everwhere but somehow there's no serenity in any of this.
The Greek restaurant on the tip of the resort is perfect for a long leisurely lunch and all the other restaurants are spectacular for your evening meal.
There are at least 3 restaurants, panasian, greek, modern european, standard sea-front restaurant for daytime dining.
We didn't have time to visit all the restaurants however, but the Captains Restaurant was fantastic as was the polynesian, and the ouzerie was excellent.
The two good restaurants are the Captain's House, which last year was excellent, but we were unable to make a reservation this year as the whole restaurant was booked for a conference delegation.
We had breakfast in the Aphrodite restaurant once and it was like a horrid conference centre.
The service and staff were very accomodating and top quality which made it easy for us to enjoy our time there.

The main building was nice - the villas are legendary, the staff is very friendly in my opinion and helpful, the service is prompt as well for the room service.

The deputy director called me the day after to apologize and upgrade us in a big room with sharing pool, gym etc.
The food was very good and the swimming pool was a huge disappoinment.
Had a massage at the spa that was the best massage I have EVER had!
The sea is crystal clear and the service is prompt as well for the room service.
