The hotel is not inexpensive but it is excellent value for money given the level of service and amenities.

The hotel offered excellent value for the cost.

Lovely pool area thai restaurant very good rather overpriced and nice hotel.

The hotel was at 30% capacity due to an extra long public holiday weekend and we were told we would have to pay extra for a late check out - very disappointing!

When planning the trip I was concerned about the location but it turned out to be perfect.

The Grand Hyatt has a fantastic location on the Kennedy Ave, excellent hotel and the service we experienced was truly exceptional.

The location was very good, the stuff were nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I had arranged transfers through the hotel (thank goodness I did - the chaos and pushiness of taxi drivers at the airport was unexpected) due to our first time in the country and we had quite a bit of luggage (2 ski bags) with us.

While the hotel is somewhat isolated in an upscale neighborhood, it is only a 15 minute walk to the excellent metro and a 10 minute cab ridae to most everywhere you might want to go.

The quality of bedding/bed linen is really good, the rooms are clean and quiet.

The hotel is beautiful, the room we had was spacious, modern, with a very comfortable bed and the most amazing view of the mountains.

As well as the great lounge area, a 6 seat dining suite, office area, seperate bathroom fro guests, full kitchen with servant entrance it had one of the best beds ever, only beaten by the Conrad Cairo.

It was all really spacious suite with bathtub, shower, sleeping room and living room.

The King Bedrooms are spacious, with a bed on one level and a sunken sitting area.

We ate breakfast in the Italian Restaurant which provided a great buffet for us to enjoy.

They offer a complimentary breakfast in the lounge, although we ate in the restaurant for reasons of practicality - this was included in the rate for the Diplomatic Suite, not sure if it is for others.

Club breakfast and evening cocktail buffet/restaurant/room service food all well above average.

Bathrooms very clean, a selection of excellent restaurants offering varied cuisines and great spa.

Breakfast everyday on the 16th floor as well as an open bar 6-8 PM and the facility itself is quite impressive.

Service was quite simply excellent and the concierge was also very helpful.

During our entire stay of 12 days we only encountered one disappointment with respect to service this being one lobby level concierge who seemed more intent with his neverending phone call than in dealing with questions.

Room service and other services are expensive and we were a little disappointed that we weren't allowed a late check out on our 2nd stay - we arrived at 1am (due to delay in our flight) and were told that check out was at 11am.

The concierge staff went out of their way to handle many requests for us.

The Hyatt features a big atrium lobby with panorama-lifts, a park-style garden with pool and an artificial 5m waterfall.

A Japanese restaurant, and a thai restaurant that is rated very highly are on the grounds, as well as a top quality fitness centre, outdoor pool, and spa.

The gym and Spa across the garden are first class.

The room is spotless and the gym is well equiped.

The bathrooms are clean and spacious, the large outdoor pool temperature is somewhat cool.

The room was large, the Italian restaurant had wonderful fresh pasta and japanese were great.

Large fitness center and excellent hotel. The lobby was beautiful and the staff was more than helpful. Our suite was spacious, pillows were fantastically comfortable and the hostesses in both restaurants were very pleasant.

A great view, a five minute walk to a large and the staff at all times tried to make our stay as comfortable as can be. Service is magnificent, the room is really nice and tea/cocktails are generous and tasty. The Italian inside is pleasant, pool is amazing.

Santiago must be the cleanest city that I have been to world wide and the downside to the hotel is that is quite a long walk to the subway. Additionally staff are helpful, the King Bedrooms are spacious and the sauna is great. Restaurant recommendations we are happy to pass on: Azul Profundo in Bellavisto and the pool side is good.

The view over to the snowcapped Andes is beautiful and the hotel is designed as an atrium. All of the staff are fantastic and the split level rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The Thai Market restaurant is a great experience, the spa is best.

The spa is is in annex around the pool area is one of the BEST in any hote and the Grand Hyatt Santiago is a really lovely hotel. The staff at the Grand Club are also very professional and helpful, the rooms themselves are big. Breakfast everyday on the 16th floor as well as an open bar 6-8 PM and the facility itself is quite impressive.

The mountains are a wonderful site any time of the day and fantastic grounds around pool in the secluded back of hotel. The rooms are large and the breakfast buffet is exceptional. Their gym is also great.

Our room gave good views over parts of the city, i was made to feel welcome from the first step in the hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bedding was superb and the pool was fabulous.

Nice Tower in Santiago city center, spectacular hotel and the Hyatt features a big atrium lobby. Service was quite simply excellent and the concierge was also very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, the Italian restaurant was very good and pool was useful after sight-seeing.
