The Grand Hotel Dechampaigne is located right in the heart of the charming Old Paris, at a walking distance from Notre-Dame cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Conciergerie on the Saint Louis island, Saint Germain-des-Pres and Le Marais quarter. The Chatelet underground station is just a few minutes from the property. It will take you only 2 minutes to get to the shopping street Rue de Rivoli and Les Halles Mall. Set in the erstwhile Stonecutters Mansion built in 1562, the Grand Hotel Dechampaigne is the oldest construction in rue Jean Lantier and les Orfevres. This 3-star hotel comprises 44 rooms and deluxe suites, some with a lovely flowered balcony. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, internet connection, minibar and bathroom with bathtub or shower, toilets and hair-dryer.   Excellent connection from the airport to station chalet by rer and nice decor. Staff friendly and helpful too, good bathroom. Enough of great restaurants.
