A wonderful Italian experience in a great location and the hotel is an old estate surrounded by lovely gardens.
He also showed us a taxi stand we could use to get back.
However on the second evening we tried to leave the hotel on foot for a dinner in town but were driven back by the intensity of the traffic on the main road, and were frightened to cross the road in the dark.
Delicious home-cooked breakfast set in an elegant dining room, this hotel is gorgeous and loaded, bed is very comfortable.
We had a room with a bedroom loft with ceilings that must have been 15 high and a huge marble bathroom.
Very large and modern bathroom, xtremely large and comfortable bed, clean sheets, elaborated breakfast, great place stay.
We we're looking for a central hotel, excellent service and the bed was very comfortable.
The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very accomodating and the gardens and surroundings were like something out of a movie.
The only meal we ate there was breakfast, which I was was comparable to the other hotel breakfasts we had on the trip.
Clean sheets and a beautiful restaurant/breakfast room opens on to a patio.
The hotel is an old estate surrounded by lovely gardens with a small swimming pool and a beautiful restaurant/breakfast room which opens on to a patio.
Reluctantly we went to the hotel restaurant and had what was our worst restaurant meal for the year 2006 (and we eat out a great deal all over Europe).
Knowing this we tried to avoid eating in the hotel restaurant.
One lovely memeber of staff even gave us directions to the beach where we went for the day.
This is the most lovely hotel with brillinat staff that made us feel so welcome!
Where else can you stay so close to Sienna where there is a pool and Tennis court yet be in the center of Sienna in less than 10 minutes The staff were helpful and really looked after my family and were lovely with the children.
The Villa Patrizia is located a ways from the campo and the older historic part of Seina, but we knew this when we booked the hotel, and had the staff call us a cab when we wanted to go into town.
One of the other posters mentioned that the pool and garden was filled with noise and diesel fumes from the road, but we didn't notice any of that.
Althought the pool was a bit cold for my taste.
The beautiful pool was clean and refreshing.
