This former palace dates back to the 18th century and is surrounded by tranquil gardens. It has an amazing location and is close to all of the main spots. The service is great, but critics felt that it doesn't measure up to other top hotels and that it's nothing special.

Set in an 18th century noble place the Grand Hotel Villa Medici can be considered one of the Florentine attractions on its own because of its royal luxury in decor and design.

Large bedroom, large living room area, huge bathroom, very nice Hotel and concierge Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable.
Pool area nice and 10 minutes later we received a complimentary bottle of good champagne.
The outside restaurant close by the pool served excellent food.
