Grand Hotel Union Executive Ljubljana - 卢布尔雅那

Its location is superb, the hotel is situated in a very nice place a few hundred meters from the center of the city and the staff couldn't have been more friendly.

Best location, an excellent big city big hotel really well located and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great location in the beautiful center of town and the hotel was situated just in the city centre -2 minutes from the main tourist attractions.

We would recommend not using the hotel to order a taxi to the airport as you will end up in one of the hotel's private taxis which are considerably more expensive than the ones you could get 100 metres to the right of the main exit on the road.

The room was standard double size with large double bed and fully opening window(good job we did not have young children as we were on the sixth floor!

I had an enourmous room with a seating area, a dressing area much larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in, decent bathroom and a balcony.

The smoky rooms/lobby, and the rock-hard bed easily make this more of a 3-1/2 rated hotel.

By contrast my non-smoking room in the Grand Union Executive was clean, comfortably furnished, and quiet, with plenty of hot water in the marble bath and not even the slightest hint of tobacco smell.

The rooms were a good size - 2 queen sized beds, a tv, lots of wardrobe space.

There are two ways to get to the hotel from airport, by car (about 30 euro each way) or van (about 15 euro each way) Hotel breakfast is excellent, at a sit-down style restaurant.

I had lunch in the garden restaurant - good, but a little pricey for Ljubljana, and dinner in one of the function rooms - excellent food, delightful service and lovely setting.

The alternative in the summer seems to be the Garden restaurant - dining alfresco - but we did not eat there because the menu seemed pretty limited and there are so many other options to try around town.

We ate in the restaurant in the adjacent Executive section and had a very good low price meal.

Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wider choice of hot and cold food than I've seen in any other hotel.

The location is superb - just a minute's walk from the main square, so having a central hotel means you can get around on foot and the reception staff get good marks for customer service.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and service was quick on check in and check out.

This room location was also very convenient for access to the pool, sauna and fitness room which were all located on the same floor literally just steps away.

Hotel has swimming pool and sauna area and a small gym.

The very nice pool with sauna and exercise room is in the Business; from the new part of Executive, you can walk there in your bathrobe (you cannot do that rom the old part!

The bathroom was well equiped and clean, without being luxurious.

The rooms were clean and light though we were at the back of the hotel and with that you get noise from the generators and air conditioners.

The bathroom was clean and mainly white marble.

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were immaculately clean.

Staff great, clean rooms and proposing a good variety of different food.
