It's in a nice location with great views.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and took day trips from the location.

There is a bus stop close by but buses are quite infrequent.

10 Euros each way for a cab, you will have to make the long trek.

My room was quite large and comfortable with a huge modern bathroom.

Extra rollaway bed was dreadful and sagged a little which was uncomfortable.

Only downside was an uncomfortable platform bed.

The snow covered mountains as a back drop made a place to remember, my room was quite large and comfortable.

There's really nothing near the hotel, spacious rooms and bar are all excellent.

Dining at either restaurant is highly recommended, as both offer a wide variety of choices including many wonderful local dishes.

Great service for drinks at the bar and quiet and good food.

The city is where you would want to be in when you are not admiring the views - the restaurants (try Spago) and shops are wonderful and can take days to explore.

There is also a second restaurant just round the corner of the building which offers cheaper meals if you wish to dine at the hotel.

Excellent food and service by the reception, bar and restuarant staff.

The staff were not as friendly or service oriented as I would expect.

Nothing to complain about on the service front - perfectly helpful staff, though I had to pay for room slippers and toothpaste, which is not really expected in a fairly expensive place like this!

Beautiful view of the mountains and also the staff was so nice & I forget my mobile they send to my hotel in Frienurg.

Room was decent enough and package included a fresh fruit platter, minibar free of charge with daily stock up for the stay and use of the indoor pool, gym, jacuzzi and sauna.

A nice small pool and a great sauna which we loved using every night.

    I was treated horribly and like an outsider. I did not feel welcome and after arriving inthe dirt and grime i found the town had little to do. I paid far to much to have my intellegence insulted and would like to suggest that others not make my mistake.

    Breakfast overlooking the mountains is heavenly the weather is right, this hotel is a good 30 minute walk into Garmish and the staff are also very pleasant and helpful. Terrace are absolutley wonderful.

    The view was remarkable & room was big even, we had one meal in the hotel that was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was not bad and the pool was so awesome.

    The view of the mountains was amazing from our balcony and the staff was so friendly at the hotel that I will only stay at Sonnenbichl on my return stays to Garmisch. Otherwise the room was comfortable.

    This hotel is lovely, the front desk very very helpful and the Peacock Bar is simply beautiful.
