Set in the heart of Turin, the Grand Hotel Sitea is in a perfect location behind the Piazza San Carlo, just next to the Museum Egizio, the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi and the Palazzo Madama.

The hotel was built in the early 1900s as the Art Nouveau symbol of the city and enjoys a traditional brand of hospitality. The venue offers wonderful meeting facilities, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, the Carignano restaurant, airport shuttle, a bar and a business centre.

All 120 guestrooms are elegantly decorated in a classic style that recalls the mood of the period in which the hotel was built, in the early 20th century. Guests are provided with standard, superior and elegant deluxe Rooms, immersed in the magical atmosphere of Turin. The deluxe rooms offer more space and have a sitting room area. It is possible to combine intercommunicating rooms. All the bedrooms have soundproofing, air conditioning systems, a satellite TV, a telephone with a direct outside line, a modem jack and many rooms have a personal safe. The bathrooms are all equipped with a shower or tub, a hair dryer, courtesy toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Some Deluxe rooms have a hydro massage tub.

Dining options

The Carignano restaurant with its elegant Empire-style décor offers international cuisine and comprises the main room suitable for buffets, cocktails and business lunches for up to 80 people, while the adjoining Carlo Alberto room, decorated in a classic “Old English style”, holds up to 35. Guests are provided with wide dessert menu, Piedmont tasting menu and children’s menu, including pasta dishes with fresh tomato sauce, meat ravioli with butter sauce, breaded chicken breast with French fried potatoes, grilled hamburger with French fried potatoes and mixed ice cream. The Carignano restaurant is open every day, except on Saturday morning and on Sunday, serving breakfast from 7am to 10.30am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 10.15pm.

The Grand Hotel Sitea includes four luxury and charming rooms able to hold anywhere from 25 to 100 people. The very quiet Sala Re Umberto looks onto the hotel’s interior garden but is also brightly lit and lends itself to various types of set-up. The Sala Principe Amedeo is similar in size but located on the first floor, a soberly elegant room that can hold a maximum of 60 people. Compact, decorated in rich red tones and elegant classic furnishings, the Sala Vittorio Emanuele is a setting of great charm. The warmth of the fireplace creates the right atmosphere both for a dinner with friends and to celebrate an event to remember. All meeting rooms are equipped with a cassette recorder, a paper flip board, on hold player, Fixed microphones, portable microphones, Monitors, a Video recorder and PAL audio system.

The fitness area is outfitted with sophisticated, latest-generation gym equipment, including three treadmills, an exercise bike, a specific bench for abdominals, one lat machine, one bench and free weights.
