Grand Hotel Miramare Taormina - 陶尔米纳

The hotel does reside in an excellent location, very close to Corsa Umberto (the main high street), it is also almost opposite the bus/coach station which is convenient for day trips and is very close to the top of the cable car.

The Hotel has a perfect location for visiting the various sites of the town & as a base for going on trips.

Even with heavy luggage you could easily use the bus to get from Catania airport to this hotel – instead of spending a small fortune on a pre-booked taxi, as we did.

Great location, very close to town and bus station, very easy to get the bus from the airport and save yourself £100 for the round trip, spend the money instead in the great restaurants Taormina has to offer.

The rooms have fantastic views out to the sea but our room was very small and the bathroom in particular was poky, with the smallest shower in the world that flooded every time it was used.

They put us into their Junior Suite - WOW, what a view, what a hot tub!

The guest rooms are adequate without being especially comfortable or attractive.

The hotel was very good, the room (on the top floor) was all you would expect of a four star hotel with decent air conditioning and a good sized bathroom.

Our room was rather basic, with a good view nonetheless, but the bathroom was tiny and the shower was the smallest I haev ever had the misfortune to step into, and it flooded the bathroom floor the entire time.

The bar by the pool served yummy snacks ( far superior to the fly ridden muck that was served for breakfast in the main restaurant) and the hotel is ideally located for exploring the town.

Bed/breakfast option allowed us the freedom in the evenings to eat in the excellent restaurants in Taormina.

Breakfast was very good indeed and the hotel restaurant (which offered residents 15% discount) was excellent.

We never had any problems with noise, despite our room (602) being close to the bar/restaurant entrance.

Fresh sicilian orange juice is available every morning at breakfast, and the food selection is wide enough - there are meat, fish and pasta choices every evening and the option to eat a la carte if not on a half-board basis.

Hotel was fairly expensive overall, but worth it as the service was excellent; the rooms were spotless; staff helpful.

During our stay the staff in the hotel were friendly, polite and helpful, and on our second day the receptionist asked if everything was to our satisfaction.

We found the reception staff reasonably friendly and helpful.

This was symptomatic of how the hotel could improve, no room service, beautiful drinks terrace let down by plastic garden furniture, very helpful staff but not many of them!

The pool was nice but it is a bit of a walk as you have to take the elevator to the 4th floor (luckily our suite was there!

The swimming pool situated in gardens 5 floors below the dining room - reachable by a lift, then 183 steps.

The lift takes you to the bottom of the hotel but the only way down to the pool are the steps.

The room was well equipped and clean and the view was glorious.

Service was very good, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was nice was the same every day.

Furthermore the rooms were spotless, pillows were well used and the buffet breakfast was good.

Apparently a member of staff is happy to give you a lift there and the rooms are clean.

Also staff polite and helpful, the room was well equipped and clean.
