This large building of The Grand Hotel Melbourne Managed By Sofitel once housed the Victorian Railways administrative offices during rail’s heyday. The rooms were once offices and have retained their high ceilings with loft-styled mezzanines. Room sizes vary and are furnished without a lot of pretense. This is not the ideal location for shopping, but its location is only a short tram ride from shopping and restaurants.

Located in the central part of Melbourne city, the five-star Grand Hotel Melbourne Mgallery is surrounded by many local attractions. Melbourne Aquarium, Melbourne Observation Deck, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, Eureka Tower and Etihad Stadium, all of these places of interest are located nearby the hotel.

Very convenient for Southern Cross Station, location is great and design and features set this hotel from the more modern hotels. Beautiful old building in the middle of the city, good air conditioning.

At the price charged this is unacceptable and coffee table not moved back square from previous night.

The position was fantastic, the history of the hotel site was very very interesting and house staff were delightful. Bed was very comfortable.
