The situation is perfect for a city trip and this hotel is in an excellent location.
The location is perfect being right next to the main square and the pedestrian areas of the historical center.

We did not need any transport until we went back to the Airport.
5 or 10 minute cab ride from train station.
Very comfortable bed, walk in dressing room and study.
The rooms were adequately furnished (though the décor was a bit OTT with lots of floral designs and huge crystal chandeliers) including; toiletries, bath robes and slippers, mini bar etc.
Large rooms and bathrooms, excellent restaurant and the most friendly accommodation staff.
Very comfortable bed, breakfast excellent and all facilities immediately available.
An exceptionally comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and dinner seems to start later than Americans might be used to.
We didn’t eat in the hotel – even though breakfast was supposed to be included it only incorporated a continental style breakfast so we waited for lunch at many of the city’s beautiful restaurants and cafes.

If having a gym is crucial to your stay, do not stay here; if staying in a grand, flawless 5 star european establishment and NOT being surrounded by 'gym-types' is your thing - you cannot go wrong here.
We chased him to the lobby, called the cops, etc etc but how can any city hotel have such lax security in this day and age?
We were specifically told there was fitness center very close by with easy access.
