Grand Hotel Golf Tirrenia

Good location for beach, public free beach nearby (10 minutes walk), very crowded with locals especially at the weekend.

The location is great, the hotel is in a lovely position away from the main throughfare and nice balcony to sit out on.

The location is great and we would stay here again because is good value.

It is about 15 minutes from Pisa Airport by car and about 25 minutes from the Leaning Tower.

Having a car was handy (though Italian signposting is atrocious - consider hiring satnav) but we met people at the hotel who seemed to be managing fine by bus (and train for Firenze).

Balcony with sea view, enormous room, great marble bathroom and massive comfortable bed and QUIET!

Yes the room was a bit dated but it was clean,very roomy with a huge double bed and bathroom.

I've booked a superior room: very spacious, with a big king size bed and a huge bathroom with.

The rooms are very big and very clean but the bathroom is old and water is lukewarm and de taps are old and it takes 15 min to run a full bath.

We requested a quiet, non smoking room with a double bed & that's exactly what we got.

A huge bathroom, outdoor bar and otherwise breakfast reasonable and varied.

Not so good - slow service in the bar, uncomfortable sun loungers, expensive and limited lunch menu (although what we tried was delicious).

00pm (there had been a crash on the motorway) - the dining room had closed and the bar staff said they were unable to make any bar snacks.

In the restaurant there is not enough food.

The breakfast was rich, the pool was clean.

The reception staff obviously felt this was not the service level expected but failed to achieve anything - it was not a major problem as we got pizzas from just down the road.

Comfortable and excellent value for money, good points: friendly staff on reception, the room wasn't the most sterilised clean I've experienced.

The pool was clean, with plenty of umbrellas, loungers & deck chairs around it.

Pool area is gorgeous and as well the Grand Hotel Golf in Tirrenia.

Good pool area, very nice private beach and the whole hotel is pretty comfortable.

The rooms are large, the pool is very clean.

The maids do a fantastic job in keeping the room clean.
