Located in the centre of Sorrento, the four-star Grand Hotel Flora is situated along the main street of the city, within minutes of the main attractions, such as Piazza Tasso (the town's main square), Porto di Sorrento, Amalfi Coast Pompeii Paestum and Naples places.

Renovated in 2008, the hotel combines fine 19th century style furnishings and the latest technology.

All 130 rooms furnished in classical style feature air conditioning and satellite TV, private bathrooms with a hairdryer and all essential toiletries. There are rooms with panoramic views.

Perfect location not too far from Sorrento itself, very nice hotel and the staff very friendly.
The staff are fantastic, breakfast in the dinning room on the 5th floor is always bright and the food in the snack bar is good.
Rooms are cleaned and the pool bar is good.

Getting there

Naples airport

By Train: When you arrive at the main train station Naples Centrale in Piazza Garibaldi go to the lower floor of the station where a local train called the ‘Circumvesuviana’ runs directly to Sorrento which is the last stop. It will take you less than five minutes to walk to the Grand Hotel Flora Sorrento by following the map above.

By Car: If you are driving from Naples airport then take the A3 motorway to Salerno/Penisola Sorrentina and take the exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Then follow the SS145 to Sorrento and the signs to the historical centre.

If you are not driving then take the shuttle bus from the airport to the main train station in Naples and follow the directions above.

The chairlift up the mountain for 6.30 euros was brilliant, the views were great, the hotel was central and close to all bars and restaurants, the staff were friendly. Bathrooms kept extremely clean, food was nice and wine prices reasonable.

The location is ideal for Sorrento, just a 10 minute walk to the main piazza and this hotel is well situated especially for rail and bus services. All of the staff are very friendly and go out of thier way to be helpful, breakfast is continental, good prices and the locals use too.
