Then, the concierge would only get me a hotel car at 5 times the price of a regular taxi.
I would not recommend this hotel even though its the cheapest 5* there and would advise paying more to stay at the other 5*'s in better locations and better staffed to help foreign tourist.
Nice location close to Nevskaya and front staff is friendly for concidering in Russia.
The location of the hotel is really convenient and the service is courteous.
Not too much out of the way and there is no problems walking the area in the day, its a little quieter at night, so get a taxi.
She said you could get killed in a city taxi and they wouldn't be responsible.
The room was large and simply brand new (well, the hotel opened in the end of 2003) tastefully furnished and designed, with a very comfortable bed, high quality sheets, very nice bathroom, Wi-Fi.
Service here is a very high quiet standard, bath room is clean.
The staff speaks English which was a "must have" for me, the room was large and comfortable with a sitting area and a huge bathroom.
When I complained, they gave me a non-smoking room that faced the dark inner courtyard and told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms.
Very nice bathroom, breakfast was perfect and dinner was also good.
The first morning, there was no one to serve me coffee at the included buffet breakfast so I ordered one from their coffee bar.
Restaurant food and service not up to expectations.
Better 32 LCD TV and breakfast was excellent.
