Grand Hotel Duomo Pisa - 比萨

Fantastic location, difficult to get any closer to the tower and the hotel is very well situated.

The location was excellent, the hotel was perfectly located for the square and staff were very polite and helpful.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to Leaning Tower and Pisa Airport, so ideal either at the beginning or at the end of your trip should you be flying to or out of Pisa Airport.

Furthermore a taxi to Pisa airport @ 9am takes just 10 minutes and costs approx 10euro.

Transfer from airport less than 10 minutes, cost by taxi 10 euros.

Our room was very large, king size bed, good bathroom, small balcony and views of the tower.

The showers dribbled cold water, the toilet only flushed occassionally after several attempts, although the sheets looked clean, the bed was filthy, air con did not work and the windows didn't open.

The beds and bed linen are not ideal (even at such a competitive price), there is no mention anywhere on their website of having to pay for parking merely that there is a car park and the bathroom we had was a bit mouldy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel, we had 4 nights in a clean room, bedding changed daily and a view from the bed of the Tower, Cathedral and Baptistry.

Our room had a superb view of the tower, very good air conditioning, and a very roomy bedroom and bathroom.

Sure, it's past its prime, and in need of some refurbishment, but the staff were civil, the restaurant served delicious food and the bar and waiting staff were lovely.

The bar had a good atmosphere, although, in our opinion a bit on the pricy side, the breakfast was wonderful.

Roberto the bar tender was even there - amazing and breakfast was fine.

First impressions of the hotel were well received reception, bar, restaurant areas were very nice, reception staff very courteous & helpful.

30am, someone (I presume a bar/restaurant adjacent to the hotel) decided to empty their empty glass bottles into a bin, thus sounding like a visit to a recycling plant.

Rooms were lovely and reception staff helpful.

The reception staff treated us with courtesy and were very helpful about where to eat, ordering taxis, etc.

The staff on reception did everything they could to fix the problem and when they couldnt opened another room for us to watch it in, for which i thank them very much.

Hotel clean, reasonable price per night and the lobby is lovely.

Excellent proximity to the Leaning Tower, the central position and the hotel has a beautiful entrance lobby decorated.

Despite advertising itself as having disabled facilities, the two lifts at the hotel were so small that neither could accommodate a guest in a wheelchair.

The room at the front was a good size, clean and tidy.

Rooms only average, reasonably clean, service normal for Italy.

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean.

Good size room, roberto at the bar a lovely man and clean sheets every day must be a bonus.

Room was very nice, the bar downstairs was lovely and cool, the sheets were clean.
