Grand Hotel Du Nord

Very good situated and the hotel had a great location in the city centre.

Right near the train station, initially we thought the location is excellent and parking very close to hotel easy to access.

Very good location, nice staff and large room for a family.

The fine city of Rheims and the hotel was in a good location.

The staff was great, our first room had a broken bed and the breakfast was by far the best.

Room was warm , reasonable size and bathroom was clean.

Perfect choise for people who wants a clean room and bathroom for a good price.

On the plus side, the rooms were very warm and the bathroom fine.

We were given a room at the front of the hotel which was terrible, the carpet was worn, the door was damaged, paper peeling off the walls and the bathroom was just nasty!

There were many bars, breakfast was okay - towels were clean.

The restaurant that is under the hotel (not shown on any pictures), had a fire and the whole hotel stunk of burnt plastic.

Place d'Erlon) is picturesque and there are tons of restaurants nearby.

The only disappointing part was that our breakfast was served on the 3rd floor virtually in a corridor.

The breakfast was good by French standards (usually you only get a bit of bread and jam).

Central location, the parking is a public parking just basement of the street in front of the hotel and front desk staff polite and helpful.

The staff friendly, a beautiful receptionist from Madagascar and they nicely gave us two other rooms to try.

When we asked to be moved the staff were rude and we had a take it or leave it attitude.

There is a complicated process to get your ticket validated, then you have to buy a discounted ticket from the front desk, then you feed the original ticket and the voucher into an automated machine and insert Euros.

Stayed 1 night with family was put on top floor (lot of stairs, small lift).

No luxury, but very clean and cosy rooms, breakfast is served in the corridor.

The room was the minimum but was clean and the staff friendly.

We had a large, pleasant and sunny room which was very clean and nicely furnished.
