Overview

The five-star Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees is perfectly placed in the small town of Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

This historic property designed by the architect Antonio Polli and built in 1860 features huge park and modern conveniences.

The spacious 172 guest rooms and suites are completed with antique furnishings and cable LCD TV.

There are two dining venues that serve refined local dishes in the cozy classic atmosphere.

The business center provides photocopying facilities, wireless internet access, air conditioning, fax machine, secretarial and translation services, coffee breaks, large screens, projectors, flip chart and markers. The unique 16 meeting rooms can accommodate up to 200 people.

The leisure amenities comprise a landscaped park, a tennis court, two outside heated swimming pools, small indoor heated swimming pool and spa area offering a wide range of massages, facial and body treatments.

Excellent friendly outstanding service etc, comfortable, spacious room and breakfast was plentiful, fresh.
The indoor swimming pool a nice treat in a bad weather day.
