The bathroom had no shower (again, according to the bellboy, there are no rooms with separate showers in the hotel, not even "suites") and no shower curtain for the bath shower(he claimed for "reasons of hygiene"!

Everything in the room was red - the walls, the carpet, the bed linens.

Excellent staff, bed-extremely comfortable.

We thought the restaurants were totally overpriced and ate elsewhere.

The staff are helpful the mood strikes them, enabled leaving window open at night without undue noise and they even refused to charge us the breakfast because a technician had to change a light bulb.

Breakfast included cereals, fruit, ham and cheese as well as a selection of breads and croissants.

The square has restaurants all around the edges but did not feel safe to us at night.

Don't miss lunch on the first floor of the Victor Hugo market if you want to eat well and cheaply with the locals.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and freindly.

    Location great - right on the city centre square and the place is nicely quiet. Moreover the staff couldn't have been more helpful and freindly.
