Great location walking distance from many cafes, bars, and restaurants. The room was cleaned daily to a decent standard, and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel desperately needs updating, it's very old fashioned and run down. My bathroom had no hot water which was a major inconvenience, and the breakfast was very basic and lacked variety.

the location sucks, please note that Grand Hotel Bologna is not in Bologna at all. no carpets on the floors and at the same time no slippers rooms are old although pretty clean. breakfast is very poor as well. it doesn't cost 200eur anyways.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was professional and helpful. We liked the breakfast which was served by a fast and friendly lady. The hotel was clean and had all necessary facilities. It was easy to park and the restaurant Il Gabbiani was not far from the hotel, just a short walk. Also, the hotel was located close to the bus station which made our transportation very convenient.
