Pros: the bathroom was large and somewhat luxurious, staff was polite and helpful, breakfast was very nice and rooftop view was stunning, great location close to train but be careful if women alone at night--men are very bold and persistent.

We had to get up for an early flight and were simply looking for a place to stay near the train and bus station to get us to the airport.

2 min walk from the bus connecting to the airport, 5 min to the dome.

The room though small was beautiful with high beamed ceiling and large very comfortable bed, the bathroom excellent, towels and toiletries replaced every day.

The rooms were clean, big double sheeted bed, turn down service, big fluffy towels, heated towel rack, minibar,etc.

They also have a restaurant opened for both lunch and dinner -- we never went, as we were out looking at the sights and eating at the local restaurants.

There is a restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel and I have fond memories of eating my breakfast next to a massive window framing a view of the Duomo - truly mesmerizing.

The rooftop restaurant has stunning views of the many centuries of Florence's architecture and provides an excellent buffet breakfast and good evening meals.

The highlight was the view of Florence during breakfast on the rooftop restaurant.

The service we received from the reception staff was professional, polite and very efficient.

Furthermore staff was gentle, very helpful concierge was happy to solve hire of rental car problem and the Bathroom was very nice.

The location the service was good, the hotel staff was very welcoming and courteous, my room was clean.

Lifts slow and photographs on third floor regarding Hitler and Il Duce somewhat surprising.

The lobby is very beautiful and old (apparently hotel was a former palace).

The only inconvenience, if any is with the elevator.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was great.

The bedroom was kept clean by a very efficient cleaning staff.

I found the room quiet and clean, the staff helpful and courteous, the breakfasts bountiful.

The bathroom was really nice and clean, and had nice toiletries.

Our room was so four star standard, perfectly clean and maintained.
