Grand Aminta Hotel Sorrento - 索伦托

The location is better than those hotels which are situated in the busy town.

The location is somewhat inconvient to get to but they have a free shuttle and the buses pass there as well.

The location is perfect with a rresonable walk (15 minutes there and 20 back) in to the centre or use the free bus.

You may want to allow more time for the airport taxi ride; we were lucky with traffic.

10 euro ferry journey, 30 euro exciting taxi ride from Naples harbour to the airport.

We were shown to our room (suite, 2 rooms, 2 baths) which had an amazing view of the Bay of Naples.

Two single beds combined to make a huge kingsize bed that was double (or triple?

Hotel was very modern and clean, featured an inviting bar, good restaurant, beautiful views from our room, a jacuzzi tub (excellent feature) in the bathroom, free internet access (another nice perk) and much more.

Our bed was two singles pushed together even though we had an "upgraded" room.

We had a "triple room" - basically a double with a couch bed; small and little storage space.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the staff (reception, dining room & bar) of the Grand Hotel Aminta for outstanding service, kindness and above all excellent cuisine in their restaurant.

The main restaurant food was good - of particular note was the excellent food in the outside bar.

Breakfasts were good and we had one good evening meal in the hotel restaurant.

We were on a bed and breakfast deal (good breakfast, hot and cold choices) although we could have chosen to eat dinner in the restaurant.

The breakfasts were wonderful and we ate dinner on two nights from the a la carte menu, lovely food but the final bill with wine was more expensive than eating out in Sorrento.

The location was fabulous, all hotel services were neat and the Reception staff were welcoming.

From the front desk concierge, to the lively bar, the room service(s) and to the dining room personnel everyone was individually & uniquely helpful.

Service was brilliant, internet access by reception was available free of charge and the Bar staff were very good and attentive.

This hotel has a very nice lobby and pool.

The free shuttle bus was always on time, Views from the Terrace were amazing, The staff at Aminta were polite, professional and most of all very friendly.

It has a nice outdoor pool and terrace but in October when we were there the pool was in the shade by mid afternoon.

Everyone covers unselfishly for everyone else and their high speed maneuvering & serving comes to resemble a first class ballet with equally professional results.

The view from our balcony was incredible, and the room was very nice & clean.

All this on top of fabulous views across the bay of Naples,excellent food and beautifully clean rooms made this a holiday to remember.

The public areas of the hotel reception pool area and restaurant are kept spotless the bedrooms are okay but also spotless.

When we got back into our room later that night the room had been sprayed and all the ants were dead but the maid did not bother to clean all the ants out.

Bedrooms and public areas were all very clean.
