Overall it was OK, but for the amenities and price, I since discovered there are better hotels in the area.

The room was clean, but quite basic and smallish for a 4 star (but had massive marble bathroom!

Very limited mini bar (beer, juice, water) so would suggest buying in a few bottles of wine if you like a drink in your room.

Spanish TV & room service is your lot I'm afraid!

Room service was prompt and friendly, but choice was very limited, esp if you are vegetarian!

The hotel met our requests and we were sent to a room in the seventh floor.

Nothing to do in the hotel at night, esp if you are on your own, Not a soul in the souless reception bar downstairs.

We get an offer where breakfast was included and the breakfast was very good and with a lot of variety.

The city is quiet in these days, well not in nights when you can find lot of people in a street called Laurel (where a lot of "pinchos" can be eaten for low prices).

The reception area was souless and spartan, with non of the usual 'buzz' one would expect fom a city hotel.

Good overnight stop between Santander, clean hotels and my room was great.

    Lively town Good overnight stop between Santander, clean hotels and my room was great.

    The room was clean, but quite basic and smallish for a 4 star (but had massive marble bathroom! Room service was prompt and friendly, but choice was very limited, esp if you are vegetarian! Overall it was OK, but for the amenities and price, I since discovered there are better hotels in the area.

    La ubicación muy buena, found Calle Laurel a lively y la bienvenida fue cordial y distante. El cuarto de baño de nuestra habitación era enorme, la atención de la recepcionista fue muy amable.

    Habia unos bares en la parte trasera que hacian ruido y las almohadas eran demasiado finas.

    Al lado del centro y a 5 minutos del casco histórico. Es un hotel muy centrico, las habitaciones son muy amplias y confortables, tanto para compras como para salir por la zona de bares del casco Antiguo.
