The hotel was well positioned, for the price we paid was amazing and we eventually arrived at our lobby was spectacular.
Akumel beach is far better and the hotel seems not to be closing the bars at a reasonable time or anticipating.
Our location was great and the food quality was good.
THE BEACH- is great and prices are definately cheaper than the Hacienda or duty free in the airport for souveniers/alcohol.
The beach was very nice, the Cancun airport was clean and the atmosphere was great at both - food was ok.

In addition service was better, the maids were great and the concierge took us to our room in a large golf kart.

The beach in front of Akumel is by far the best, the grounds of the hotel are very well maintained and gran Bahia Tulum has an impressive lobby – the grounds are beautiful.

Service overall was pretty good and our room was clean the sheets smelled a bit mildewy.
The hotel was great we got villa 12, the staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean.
