The location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk through the park to the hospital, no worries about parking. The size of the bathroom and kitchen exceeded my expectations, especially considering the affordable price. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the best I've experienced in all of New Zealand. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating, providing me with a room on short notice when my daughter needed emergency treatment. The staff/owner were meticulous and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. The motel was well-run and had plenty of helpful information available at the front reception. I was impressed by the attention to detail, such as pre-measured laundry detergent and snacks available for purchase. The owner also provided useful maps, car rental information, and suggestions for activities based on the weather. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic stay.

Amazing customer service! I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel staff offered to pick me up from the train station without any prior arrangements. They even went out of their way to help me with multiple trips back to the station due to train cancellations. Plus, the location was perfect, right by a beautiful park, and just steps away from a bakery. The room was spacious and accommodating, with an extra bedroom for the kids. Despite a few minor issues with the bathroom and WiFi, the owner made a sincere effort to address them. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

The hot water in our unit was exceedingly hot - great for hot showers and dish washing, but potentially dangerously hot if young children were in the unit. Suggest all motels involved with this booking system be reminded of a recommended hot water temperature (particularly in family units).

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The location was perfect, close to the railway station and within walking distance to the city and Addington shops. It was also right in front of a big park, which was great for outdoor activities. The room was clean and tidy, and had all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning. The dining table provided added convenience. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families.

We recently stayed at a motel on the outskirts of the city center, perfect for those travelling by car. The proximity to beautiful parks and shops made exploring easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with clean and comfortable bedding and towels. The free wifi was a great added bonus.

The motel lacked soundproofing, and traffic noise could be heard.

TV didn't work properly, channels were fuzzy.

Office opening at 7.30 - needs to be earlier for business travellers, facilities are pretty dated for money charged.

cleanliness was top-notch - with tidy kitchen & bed. location couldn't be better - right next to Hagley Park - supermarket within walking distance. friendly staff gave great local advice.
