High prices on the hotel facilities, very friendly staff and the room was clean.

A convenient location, very close to the railway station and just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Leiden.

Provides easy access to the popular sites in the area, hotel is in a good location and the rooms are spotless and appealing.

Leiden itself is a beautiful City, the location of the hotel is pretty good.

Only 35 mins on the train to Amsterdam and appx 15 to the airport.

Our train journay from Schipol airport to Leiden took 20 minutes and only €13 for a family of five.

Family room for us included two very large double beds and a pull out bed.

Drink of good quality at a reasnoable price, rooms are comfortable and either not enough toilet paper or no soap or no clean towels.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was incredibly comfortable.

They upgraded us to a "family" room with two queen size beds upon arrival.

The room was clean and the bathroom was great.

The breakfast was served in the Rubens restaurant of the Golden Tulip, a 4 star hotel (the two hotels share also the same reception).

Breakfast is something crazy like 15-20 Euros per person so avoid eating at the hotel if you can.

Breakfast was served in the dining room of the Golden Tulip Hotel and was excellent.

It was a buffet breakfast, Northen European type, similar to the kind I have got in German, British or Scandinavian hotels.

The restaurant was elegant, and a soft baroque music was played in the background.

A convenient location, handy localization near the train station and leiden is a beautiful town. Drink of good quality at a reasnoable price, rooms are comfortable and either not enough toilet paper or no soap or no clean towels. The breakfast environment is perfect.

The interior is a bit outdated, should be improved - no laundry or ironing services.
