Location was very good, having breakfast there was extremely worth the extra over other hotels we have stayed and the staff was very friendly.
The hotel staff were helpful, the only sounds I heard from other rooms was and the breakfast was really nice.
Great location for beach and near the Ipanema subway station.

Getting there

Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport is just 30 min drive from the hotel. When you are leaving the airport building you immediately discover the bus stop at your right. The bus rate is 6 Real per person to Copacabana and runs from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm every 30 minutes. At the same time, the hotel provides airport shuttle for its guests.

The location is amazing, this hotel is getting a bit long in the tooth and needs a facelift, for the same price you can get pretty much better. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and a good breakfast buffet till 11am, the facilities are excellent and the diningroom great.

Lobby areas are very small and lateral windows difficult to open because of curtains.

The location was very good, Ipanema Plaza was the absolute best hotel & and the overall staff were nice and friendly. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Fruits were not ripe, pool was dirty.

The location is brilliant, directly less than a block to Ipanema Beach and close to great shopping.

Hotel should invest in some good wifi routers, unfriendly staff never answer the phones and breakfast could be improved.
