  The hotel has a great location in the center of the city. Many rooms offer great views of the square and the sea.

  Same goes for the spa and steam rooms on the lower level and the rooftop pool (forget about swimming any laps). The service was disappointing for a "luxury" hotel. Also, was I surprised to learn no spa services were available on Saturday in the late afternoon, nor could the attendant recommend other places to go in the area.

  best location in town, great service, charming,
  the gym could be better overall a winner. this is on the main square overlooking the sea. a 2 minute walking distance to the restaurant areas, central markets and boutiques.

  However the rooms are too small and like many hotels there they don't have a parking. But anyway , I liked the location , very central.

  If you go by car , you have to pay for the parking ( like 20 Euro ) at a walking distance of 5-10 minutes.

• It does have an excellent breatfast buffet upstairs with a great view of the waterfront. The pool is nice as well and you will get a great cup of coffee in a town that knows coffee.

  Staff is generally rude although there are a few execptions. However, if you are going to pay their prices for an only decently sized room with poor service and rude staff, you had better need to be located on the square.

  The best thing about the hotel is location. It is right at the center of the city, at Aristotelous Square, with spectacular views to the sea from the breakfast room at the top floor. The hotel is very convenient for sightseeing on foot (within walking distance from the White Tower, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Byzantine Culture, the Roman forum, the Church of St. Demetrius) or for using public transport (bus stop just outside the hotel). Our room was clean (somewhat small, but it was not a superior room), a maid knocked on our door each evening to ask if there was anything that we needed, there was great variety at breakfast and the receptionists were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who values location and good service.

  The lounge, corridor, rooms and bath rooms correpond to a five star hotel. You can use the pool (only 7 m but very nice decorated), the sauna, hammam, jacuzzi and body building machines and order massages. Children can only use the pool at certains hours. The standard seaview room is a little bit old fashion. If you have enough money it is better to take a junior suite where you seem to be suspended over the Aristoteleus place because you are in the angle of the hotel with three windows, a corridor, a little saloon, the sleeping room (with seaview) and a little bath room between the sleeping room and the corridor. Breakfast is really great not only for the view but also because I never had so much choice for a breakfast.

  The views of its superior rooms that are facing Aristotelous squaire and the sea are unbeatable. To start with there seemed to be a mix up with my reservation and although I booked and paid (through my travel agent) a superior room I nearly ended up with a standard one (which seemed to be of much lower quality than the superior rooms and without the nice view of the sea front). Upon arrival the reception staff were very professional and polite and although my superior room was nothing special and had a tiny bathroom the view of the room was amazing. The next day and the day after that we had breakfast at the hotel and although the staff were very polite the service that we received at the breakfast room was not attentive. Finally during check out again the reception staff were very courteous and professional.

  As others have said the location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of happenings in Thessaloniki. Public spaces are nicely decorated but not spotlessly clean. The bar had a nice ambience and even live music on the weekend. The breakfast room up to the top floor overlooks the seafront but it does smell of smoke since it is small and there is not big difference if you sit at the non smoking section.

  The standard one was small with just enough space to walk around the bed, there was a patch on the bed cover and a patch on the carpet (probably to cover up holes made by cigarettes), it was dark and the view was terrible.

  On Saturday night there was a Greek wedding in the function suite on level one. At 12 o'clock 'i phoned the night porter on the desk refused to give me another room, said it would finish in 20 mins. Was refused another room, he refused to phone the manager, he also refused to phone another hotel for me, refused to put any of this in writing. When I picked up the phone on the desk to use it, he physically threatened me, then threatened to phone the police.
