Close to very nice museums, location is excellent and is the best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel.

We were travelling with another couple and our rooms were not on the same floor but looked identical, that is very dated, the bathroom tiles and door looked dirty, the bath tub had a curtain and overall the bathroom looked quite old.

The only difference was that the bed was queen instead of 2 single beds pushed together and the view was better.

Looking at the ceilings in the hallway and bathroom, and the chairs in the breakfast lounge (although the latter quite nice) I would say the styling dates from the eighties or seventies.

We ate in the hotel, the food was lovely, but it was so quiet and formal with only a few other guests eating that we felt that we had to whisper instead of talking.

The hotel was very clean, there were always sufficient reception staff at front desk to ensure that queues were limited and under the mattress was a piece of wood just as big as the bed.
