To be fair also the price is not the one of a 5 star hotel, 110 Euro a night are a good price for the easter holiday.
The hotel appeared to be doing this to make some extra money.
I was told that it was not hotel practice to lend out irons and that I would have to put my items into the laundry (at a cost of over 15 Euros for one item ) and would recieve them back at the end of the day.
The location of this hotel is the best because it is in a quiet neighborhood filled with office buildings and apartment buildings, and 2 blocks from the main street Avenida da Liberdade, and walking distance to downtown.
location is perfect, good to have use of hotel facilities next door.
Central location in lisbon nice apartment pity no electric kettle, the swimming pool.
Quick taxi drive from the airport and suited me for my business meetings.
There is a taxi rank right outside the door.
The room we got was very nice, and it had a big bathroom with the toilet in a separate stall.
The room was fine apart from the hard bed.
The bathroom in the room is old but quite nice, with marble floors and door to separate the 2 sinks and thub from the toilet.
Quality of apartment - perfect for families, excellent room service.
Late check out at no extra cost, the apartments of Altis Suites are ideal for families.
We ate once at the coffee shop and the food was very good and excellently presented.
The problem with the hotel is that the service and breakfast are mediocre and not 5 star.
One suggestion for the hotel is that if they don't want to invest on a refurbishment, they could make the breakfast buffet memorable, and it is not.
The buffet breakfast (free with our accommodation - another thing the woman was angry about) was so bad that we didn't go back after the first morning.
The food was dreadful and it was so packed we had trouble finding a table.
I was in Lisbon on business for just under 3 weeks and comfortable & the front desk staff was very service oriented.
All staff at the hotel were very rude and unprofessional - prehaps they do not pay their employees enough because they had no idea how you should treat a hotel guest.
Central situation of the hotel and staff extremely helpful.
Apart from this, I found the staff friendly and helpful.
Its got some great features that we didnt use like pool and gym and restaurants.
The pool is large enough to swim laps and was often empty.
We did not have the time to use the swimming pool, but this would be a big plus for me.
