Place was amazing and close to a new gallery. Location was best possible and incredible, to the grocery store. Also, it was near Santorini and the red sand beach and the sea. Rooms here were equipped with extra touches and the upper bedroom, as for instance.

central location, such beautiful and spacious enough rooms. half bathroom was compact. we had consistently good breakfast served by fantastic host.

I absolutely loved my choice of staying at the Golden Sunset Villa!!!! It put me right in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world! Since I was traveling alone it made it very simple to find my way home in an area that could be very confusing- the windmill was very visible and also most important- at the top of the hill- an important detail when packing your luggage (which the hotel help did for me). They arranged for a bus to pick me up at the airport and a taxi to take me back when my vacation was over (at my expense of course). I stayed at the least expensive room (a traditional cave house) and the charm left me spinning in happiness. This is the perfect choice for the traveler that desires "real" traditional lodging with of course, the most spectacular sunset view on the island!!

I wish they would offer prunes in the morning (ha-ha!)- the breakfast is simple. The coffee choices were delicious though, so their was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

Very idyllic location. The own small terrace in front of the room with a great view on the Caldera is unsurpassed. And everything's super clean. Delicious breakfast on a quiet hotel terrace with a wonderful view. Restaurants and town centre within walking distance. Host very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is quite old-fashioned. Even if the accommodation was chosen traditionally, it would be nice if the bathroom would be more modern (shower, toilet). But it's not crucial.

Staff are good. We arrived at 7 AM and get one extra free breakfast! The seaview and sunset view is fantastic!

The staff were nice; view is the best of best...really liked this hotel. Highly recommended to all my friends. (In addition, the airline delayed my baggage in Germany on my day of arrival; and after that the hotel owners keep calling the airport and airline to chase them up for me...that was really helpful and nice!!thanks guys!!)

Location, Location, Location. I had no idea how good a view of the Sunset I would have from my balcony. This is definitely the place to stay for Sunsets.

Bathroom was small. (But not as difficult to navigate as other hotels I've been in). And considering the location and that in my case, the room was carved into a cave, it's still pretty nice.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, no better location for the sunset when in Oia, clean rooms and a very relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately they were booked out for an extra night as we so did not want to leave. If you are staying in Oia, definitely do stay here.

A great view on the caldera - we watched the sunset sitting at our room's terrace (and it's essentially the thing you pay money for). A large room with original design.

For a price we've paid, there'd been a couple of annoying things such as a toilet cover not fixing in a vertical position, or a window which is almost impossible to close.

Owner is very friendly and kindly. Location is best for sunset view.
