  If you want to have a good experience in this hotel, make sure you pick the rooms from the new block. The bathroom is very clean and new, hot water and of course the nice plasma tv with hundreds of channels to watch including CNN and fox. There are some light coming through from those small shops lining that little street, oh and you can get those fantastic tasting fruits from them at the local prices. You will even appreciate the nice polished lifts and great smelling carpets.

  Hear you get a clean and central hotel for cheap money. Get off at Dengshiku station on Line 5 and take exit A turn left and left again almost immediately down by the side of a bank. And the rooms are large and clean and the matressess are no harder that any other "local" hotel I have stayed in anyplace in Asia.

  She proceeded to try to prove to me how clean the bathtub was by wiping it with a sheet of toilet paper. We also decided not to spend too much time in the rooms, since the television had only 1 English channel with nothing good on, and the bathtub leaked water underneath the linoleum tiling so that the floor made a squishing sound as you walked.

  The "Silver Street" described in the hotel's name refers to the tiny alleyway it is located on which took our taxi driver (and his friends through the intercom) about 15 minutes to locate. Once we arrived inside, I was asked by the desk clerk if I would like to see the rooms we reserved before paying. Naturally I accepted, only to be horrified at how disgusting the basement-level rooms were. The carpets were filthy, the room was musty and an ominous-looking black mold could be seen creeping around the bathroom. I told them the rooms were absolutely unacceptable, and the woman at the front desk did not believe me, so I took her with me. These were the dirtiest hotel rooms I had ever encountered. After I complained to the main desk, they (a little too conveniently) had another room available for me.
