  Very central in town centre, only a short drive to the university and do in the immediate vicinity. Additionally in general great hotel and concierge service easy to talk to. Bathroom excellent condition, staff in bar make up for any downfalls and breakfast is a buffet has a good choice.

  Car park very difficult to find and the lobby is a little shabby as are some of the corridors.

  Location was very central, the room we stayed was 331 there was a flood wıth water comıng through our ceyyılıng snf our luggage was wet the staff at hotel were blase and i think you were paying cheap price wouldnt seem so bad. The service was great, i booked online as there was a beautiful picture of the executive suite i was booking and the barman was very pleasant the breakfast was good. Our choice of wine was disappointing, facilities were spotless.

  We had to park out on the street there were enforced restrictions, the door into the toilet was tiny.

  Well positioned in the centre of Stirling, room decor modern & welcoming and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and breakfast was a pure feast of Scottish themed culinary enjoyment.

  You are yards away from the main shopping centre and this hotel does have a great location tho as its right in the middle of the town. Additionally bathrooms fitted out to a very high standard.

  Location was excellent and our stay at the Golden Lion was ok from very noisy neighbours in next room. The staff was helpful, the bathroom had been renovated to wheelchair standard and breakfast buffet had a good selection.

  Had a lovely view of the wallace monument from window, decor int he room was very nice and the staff at reception were fine. The bathroom was very modern indeed and meals were well presented.

  Useful as location for visit to Sterling castle is just 15 mins walk, overall a nice traditional feel to the hotel and the rooms have recently been updated. The staff in the bar/restaurant are very welcoming and friendly.
