Overall, it was among the worst three-star hotels I stayed at all over Turkey, and you can certainly find better places for the money.
The worst was at the check out, the hotel demanded that we have to pay "cash"; otherwise there would be a 14% surcharge if we pay by a credit card.
The location is excellent, the hotel is centrally located in the old part of Istanbul and the.
Excellent location, best place of hotel in city and extremely helpful staff at the desk helped.
Second the central position in Sultahamed and the location of the hotel is excellent as is within walking distance to the main attractions in the old city.
When we asked if Metro (subway/train) goes to the airport, they replied "no" and asked us to book a 10 Euro/person mini bus or taxi 25 Euro.
It turned out Metro does go to airport and costs only 2.
The twin-bed room on the 5th floor was quite spacious and neat, breakfast was an expansive.
This did not seem to be a problem for the hotel staff who assured us that the next night we would have a room with a double bed.
This room was so tiny that my husband and I could not stand next to eachother on the same side of the bed.
Had two small dark roomswhen we checked in and after a lot of complaining we were moved to a corner room, much better then the other two, had three big windows a little more room around the two tiny beds.
New bathroom View from our room and hotel has an great location is near the santha sophia.
The breakfast in the roof top restaurant is okay, but the food is not well prepared.
Nice roof view, the beautiful Marmara sea from the roof restaurant having your daily delicious breakfast or dinner and their welcome is perfect give the some welcome coctail.
Staff is very kind, the room is very big and the dinner i eat fish on the restaurant is very delicious.
When we asked for a nearby "fish" (Boliga) restaurant and a female staff was about to say something, a male manager stepped in and eventually told us to eat fish in their restaurant.
Also free internet an parking are good choice, the breakfast is wonderful.
We liked the great roof-top view, many thanks to the hotel staff: expecially to gentle Eyep Sarka and daily trips can be arranged by the reception is another plus.
Staff was very friendly and the concierge was very helpful at first.
A relaxing and frienly atmosphere and ever polite and helpful reception staff makes it rather attractive for every one perhaps.
The staff is very attentive and they have been extremely helpful from the receptionists to the waiters readily make your trip a pleasant.
The prices are also reasonable as can be seen by comparing and lobby is fantastic.
However if you enjoy relaxing by the pool at the hotel sometimes, i would look elswhere.
The roof terrace has a great view of Istanbul.
