The front lobby was also very relaxing, with classical music playing, fireplace going, hot beverages being served for free, the location was perfect, close to downtown, close to restaraunts, hiking, nice place overall.

The location of the appartment was wonderful( close to all restaurants and shopping.

For the price and location I would recommend this motel.

The location is very convenient but do not come without a car.

Hiking to the top of a four thousand foot tall mountain to get in a few runs?

Our room was one of the deluxe mini-suites with a whirlpool bath, fireplace and king-size bed.

The room was fantastic, we had 2 queen beds, a great bathroom with a bath that you could atually take a bath in, and tea making facitilites which were well used at that time of year.

The resort looks like it has been built over the years with motel like additions, the room was clean and bed was good, our room had a fireplace and the room would probably be preferred accommodation in the winter ski season.

Our room had a fridge and the bed was very comfortable.

We had a Superior room at a special Bed and Breakfast rate as my husband and I are Cross Country skiiers.

Pickwicks (an English style bar and restaurant), across the street from a seafood restaurant and very close to McCarthy's (a good breakfast spot) and the Stowe cinema.

The only restaurant at the resort serves an excellent breakfast but closes at 11am, although there are eating places within a short walk.

Breakfast restaurant was clean and inviting.

Sauna are well maintained, the breakfasts served at their little restaurant are fantastic and nice amenities such as a wine cheese party for guests.

After long days of skiing a jacuzzi is a real necessity, the only restaurant at the resort serves an excellent breakfast and the indoor pool is exceptional.

Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The front desk staff will be happy to help you, as soon as they finish making dinner plans with their friends for later on in the week.

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, there is a cosy lounge/lobby with a really good free coffee machine and free internet access.

We found our room/bathroom, pool, gym, cafe, lobby, game room, everything to be incredibly clean and updated.

The room was so cute and so was the rest of the place, the indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great too.

Swimming pool and spa was great fun and very relaxing after a day's skiing.

There is only one PC in the “lodge” which is often “hogged” by someone who ignores the 20 minute rule.

The room itself was a bit old, but the furnishings and decor were fresh and clean.

Our room was gorgeous - really clean and thoughtfully furnished with a small refrigerator which was great.

We stayed at the golden eagle resort in february 2005- On the positive side , the room was extremely clean - However for 170 dollars a night.

The room was perhaps a little dated but immactulatley clean and always nice and warm.

The staff was warm and the rooms were clean.
