The location to everthing in Istanbul was within walking distant, more luxurious hotels - you have to pay top whack for that - the Golden City was spotlessly clean and personnel were very kind and helpfull.
Staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Getting there

Ataturk International Airport is approximately 12km away from the hotel.

From Ataturk Airport move southeast toward Atatürk Havaalanı Yolcu Girişi for 800m and take the first exit onto Atatürk Havalimanı Cd for 2.8km, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Yeşilköy-Bakırköy Sahil Yolu and drive straight for 4km, turn right onto Kennedy Cd, drive straight for 8.4km and turn left onto Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa Cd, take the first turning and go along Atatürk Blv for 500m, continue on Haşim İşcan Gç for 400m, take the ramp on Tersane Cd and you will see the hotel on your left.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport is 12km away.

From Sabiha Gökçen Airport drive north toward Şht. Cevdet Çelenk Cd for about 450m and turn right onto Şht. Cevdet Çelenk Cd, turn left onto Orhanlı Cd and after 120m take the 2nd turning to the direction of Gazi Cd, turn left onto Kanarya Cd and at the first roundabout turn left onto Ankara Cd, drive along Kurtköy Pendik Bağlantısı road for 2.4km and continue on O1-O2 Çamlıca Bağlantısı for 3km, turn right onto Barbaros Blv for 1.5km, drive along Kemeraltı Cd, take the 3rd turning onto Tersane Cd road and you will see the hotel on your left.

The old city is at 10 minutes walk includes spice bazar, the hotel is very new and the views from the rooftop restaurant were fantastic, the facilities extremely good and the service top notch. The rooms are very clean and • great breakfast spread of Turkish fruit.
