  Room decoration, main restorant meals, golf club with helpful caddies, spa are with seawater pool, sauna with outside window.

  Reception and guest relation staff are not knowledgable about what they must know. They can not even tell what is included in half board versus all inclusive and give very dangerous wrong information to guests.

  On arrival we were extremely impressed with the hotel and reception and were instantly upgraded to a Junior Suite ( I assume the hotel wasnt booked up that week) which was a very nice surprise and we got a lovely big ground floor room close to the main hotel and therefore within easy walking distance of all restaurants/bars/pools, etc. Be aware there were rooms in blocks further out which may not have been as nice and accessible as ours was. The mini bar was filled daily with wine, beer, soft drinks and haribo and toblerone! They provided a good selection of towels, clothes hangers and dressing gowns. The hotel itself was very impressive and the staff were very accommodating although I did find the language barrier a bit difficult at times. The majority of guests were from Eastern Europe and the staff spoke limited English. The bar/reception/restaurant/cleaning staff were very good however and the drinks included branded spirits, gordons, smirnoff and champagne! The restaurant food was exceptional, I would specifically recommend the Verde Pub for lunch with king prawn casserole or fresha pasta dishes being served and Bazilika for Dinner with fillet steak, etc. The restaurants at Gloria Golf were also very good and we had a nice lunch at the Galleon on the beach there and tea at Pescado, a specialist fish restaurant in the hotel.

  This especially went for the guest relations staff who were completely unhelpful at any time to the point of rude, which I'm sure was not in their job description!

  I have read the other reviews on the Gloria Verde and agree that the hotel is excellent in most respects but the one thing that dissapointed my wife and I was that although we were in a hotel that was next to the beach there was no sea view. As a result our five star room was overlooking the coach park of the adjacent hotel about 15m away. If you spend all your time on the beach it may not bother you but if like us you like to read or have a quiet drink on the balcony in the evening you may be dissapointed. Be wary of the local buses, we boarded one to go to Antalya but because we were the only passengers the driver refused to go and dropped us at the local bus station to get back to the hotel ourselves.

  Hotel offers great value for money in terms of comfort, service, food & drinks, as well as the overall experience ranging from nicely decorated (no “wow” effect, but still nice) spacious rooms (very good job done by the cleaning staff), horticulture, pool & slides area, beach area…. Reception staff is efficient and courteous, being able to assist with any request or problem a guest my have (a problem with our room safe was dealt with within 10 minutes). All of them have very friendly attitude toward children (which is important having in mind that majority of their guests are families with kids). Food is great, both in variety and quality (taste, freshness…). If you take all inclusive, drinks are unlimitedly free, alcohol as well, and they really offer a good range of drinks, known brands, not some suspicious “no name” products, syrups, some people have encountered in other all inclusive resorts. Pool area consists of two large pools, as well as an additional children pool. There is also a separate slides area (I really enjoyed that one ) Sandy beach, nothing special, but clean and equipped with more than enough beds… Towel service is placed near the pool…clean towels, as many as you like, no deposit needed.

  Enough beds, enough umbrellas (although the hotel was probably 70% occupied, so it might be a bit crowded during the peek season).

  Hotel is almost clinically clean and food acceptable.

  Warning, at Gloria Verde Hotel you can pay for service but it does not mean that you get this service.

  We were on an all inclusive package and were very impressed with the quality of food on offer in the main buffet, this had great choice and was of very high standard. Service though by the staff was not good in any of the common areas except the spa. On average once a day when we went back to the room the cards failed to work and we had to go back to reception to get another replacement.

  If you missed lunch there was a small menu available in one of the bars near the pool between 12:00 – 16:00. We frequently arrived to find no table ready to sit down at and were always chasing the staff for cutlery, glasses, napkins, water etc. We had a lot of dealings with the reception staff as we were having problems with our keycard.

  The staff was not only professional, courteous, and friendly, but they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The food was delicious and the selection was plentiful; they would have different themed meals every night. They had the animation staff that put on shows, they taught air-gun and archery and provided a great DJ or live music depending on the night. I've never been to a place that was so genuine with their service. I've been to the Four Seasons and the staff at Gloria Verde far surpassed them in every manner possible.

  The accommodation in the Select Villas was excellent, the food was wonderful and the staff very helpful and pleasant.
