I liked the bathroom had a nice white bath tub and all the food was of a high standard.
The hotel was just a bus ride away from the city centre making ideal for a weekend city break, the reception staff were extremely helpful and the shower was hot and powerful.

Getting there

Glasgow Airport is located within eight miles away from the city center and demands about 20 minutes driving to reach the city center.

By car from Glasgow Airport take the M8 motorway heading for Glasgow city center. Then take the Clyde Tunnel junction and follow the signs for Anniesland and at Anniesland Cross turn right on to Great Western Road following the signs for City Centre. The hotel is a short car drive along this road and it is located on your right hand side.

By train to the city center you can take the Paisley Gilmour Street located a mile away from the terminal and easily accessible by bus services 66 and 300. There are eight regular trains from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central running hourly and on Sundays – five per hour.

By taxi you can reach the hotel 24 hours a day and prices for long journeys are negotiated with the taxi driver ranging from £20.00 - £22.00 from Glasgow Airport to Glasgow City Center.

Glasgow Shuttle offers 24-hour links to Glasgow's two main rail stations – Central and Queen Street and the main bus terminus - Buchanan Bus Station at price £4.50 per person. The transfer will take you about 25 minutes.

From Edinburgh Airport, take the M8 west bound and at Junction 17 take the A82 west for two miles straight and the hotel is on the left by Gartnavel Hospital.

Good basic accommodation and the staff were sympathetic and offered free breakfast as compensation.

The hotel was unable to accommodate me in a double room for the first two nights of my stay, the young women on reception were very busy.
