Convenient location near major attractions, restaurants, and taxis. Spacious room with high ceilings and nice shower. Friendly staff, accommodating with late arrival and luggage storage. Host gave great recommendations and served delicious breakfast. Small boutique vibe with only six rooms.

I don't really want to tell others about this great place, since I want to be sure to find a space every time I go back to Rome. I stay in many hotels around the world, but this was really something special. It is a small little boutique hotel, modern, meticulously clean and extremely well located. The service was absolutely top class and Thami was so charming and helpful - nothing was too much to ask. The laptop and free wi-fi was a great touch! If you are looking for a modern, intimate, well coming, well priced, luxury hotel which is extremely well located, visit this one...but just not when I want to go!:)

This hotel is located in a great area close to many key attractions, restaurants, and shops. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast is delicious with many options to choose from, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel provides amenities such as a complimentary happy hour and a smartphone for guests to use. The rooms feature attractive decorations and some even have great views of the city.
The blind in one of the rooms did not work properly, which caused some disturbance in the morning.

The hotel had a great central location, making it easy to explore the city. Rooms were well equipped with free WiFi and even a laptop. The staff also provided a warm welcome with a glass of Prosecco upon arrival.
The air conditioner was not very effective, which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. the laundry service was expensive and marked everything as dry clean, resulting in an unnecessarily high bill.

With delightful staff and a location right down in the middle of Rome, the Gigli was our base of operation for three days. They run a handy shuttle-service from and to the airports, offer loads of options for added activities at a fair price and the staff is willing to check options for tours, resulting in a massively impressive, yet extremely relaxing holiday.
The only downside we found in the hotel was the bathroom, the cleaning service there seemed to resolve around swapping towels but leaving droplets or stains. Luckily enough, this was a minor problem and shouldn't put anyone off of booking.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a classic suite. The room was spacious and had a great character with all the modern conveniences. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, from the well-equipped bathroom to the comfortable queen-sized bed. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in a very good area close to major central Rome sights.
All the services at this hotel were satisfactory and I had no issues during my stay.

We loved the fantastic rooms with great space and lovely decor. The bathroom was one of the best we've seen in a while, with a fantastic shower perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring this city. The central location was excellent, with many cafes and restaurants nearby, minutes away from major attractions. The staff members were very friendly and helpful and helped organise a taxi for us.
Nothing that we didn't like.

We had 4 nights at Gigli D'oro and found it a beautiful small hotel located 30 seconds walk from Piazza Navona, and therefore within easy walking distance of everything in Rome. The hotel is impecably run, stylish, quiet, and a gem. The manager and all the staff are always smiling and will answer any question or satisfy any need quickly and efficiently.
Not really a problem, but we had the Gigli D'oro suite on the top floor and, while the room is spacious in floor area, because of the angling of the ceiling beams the actual space is less than it appears. The room is also quite dark due to limited windows and takes a bit of getting used to. It is beautifully appointed and once adjusted to the light and space maybe it becomes a unique experience.

the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
It was advertised as a boutique luxury hotel, the room we were given was very un-luxurious. The a/c did not work, the shower had no pressure, the shower was in the bedroom and the ceiling was so low in parts of the room that you could not stand where the luggage stand was etc. Also there was only a small window in the roof - and 3 flights of stairs to climb. For the price of the room and its classification thee was quite a miss match.

The location is superb, being just off Piazza Navona. The hotel is small and has been designed to take account of the antiquity of the building whilst providing modern facilities with some style. The staff are very helpful, especially Andreas on reception, whose English is very good. The provision of drinks and nibbles in the breakfast room during the afternoon/early evening is a nice touch. Given it's central location, it's a very quiet hotel being set in a small side street. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend it unreservedly.
The only slight downside is the size of the breakfast room which is only just adequate - only 4 tables and very small at that. But it seems very critical to complain about that when everything else is so good.

This hotel is a little gem in a fantastic location. Situated in a very good area, it is close to major attractions such as the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The prices are reasonable and offer great value for money. The staff is friendly and hospitable, always attentive to guests' needs. The rooms have a great character, with all conveniences and a nice touch of details. The breakfast, with its delicious scrambled eggs, is a perfect way to start the day.
All was excellent, no improvements needed.
