After my first stay, I realized there was no other hotel comparable to the value and since then I've always stayed at the GT.
We spent two nights at this lovely hotel and were thrilled with the location, the price, and the service.
I got a very good rate from Booked.net and found this hotel to be a great value.
Room service has good tasty fare, is always prompt, and is not overpriced (for a hotel).
In addition the location is fabulous, located just across the Fox Theatre and throughout its pretty interior is beautiful.
Could not have been a better location, the hotel is well located at the edge of Midtown and staff are extremely friendly attentive.
I liked the location, directly across the street from the Fabulous Fox Theater and conveniently located within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants.
I live in the Metro Atlanta area and I decided to spend the weekend at the Georgian Terrace just to get away and relax.
We found it very easy to find our way to the metro transportation that takes you most places in Atlanta.
My room was large, albeit a little dark, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom more than adequate.
THE GOOD (ROOM): The suite was lovely; nice carpet, roomy, high ceilings, a great view, soft bed linens, etc.
When I arrived to the hotel and checked in, they put me in a studio room with only 1 bed.
The Second Bedroom was used as our clothes room although it had a double bed in it.
Well this place had super nice rooms, really large like a one bedroom apartment, and very comfotable beds.
Breakfast in the hotel restaurant, The Savoy Bar & Grill, was also a disappointing buffet with lukewarm and unappetizing foods.
The restaurant and bar staff, and the concierge were all extremely helpful, and very accommodating.
We went to the Savoy restaurant for breakfast and had the buffett which was very good.
Another note: the restaurant and bar are understaffed and close as early as 11:00pm.
Our only disappointment was that a wedding party had booked the entire restaurant and bar, so we weren't able to sit in the bar and listen to live jazz that evening.
The employees were very friendly from the cleaning staff to the concierge to the front desk to the valet staff.
The concierge desk was very helpful in finding dinner locations, the front desk went out of their wayto make surely stay was perfect and the staff was very nice and friendly.
Other facilities included at this Hotel included a Gym which was well equipped and all in working order and also a rooftop Swimming Pool which was kept extremely clean.
The gym and roof-top pool were wonderful additions, especially as they were both free to use.
The pool on the roof was clean and the gym was well equipped.
The hotel has complimentary high speed internet service, which I make wireless by plugging into my 129$ Apple Airport Express.
The high-speed wireless network in the lobby worked the first day I was there, but didn't work the other 5 days.
The staff were excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable.
Rooms were clean, the kitchen was large and the mattress was comfortable.
Staff is very friendly and beds are excellent and clean.
It was small (no worse that rooms in European hotels) but clean.
Our room was large clean and had a beautiful view of Stone Mountain.
