Georgian House Hotel Norwich - 诺里奇

After reading some of the reviews on the website I was a little worried about my stay at the Georgian which I had booked due to its location near relatives.

Overall the hotel is in great location and the staff are very friendly taking the time to talk and take interest.

Because the function we were attending was in a central location if was very convenient to be able to walk there and back to the venue from the hotel, no need for taxis!

Good location just outside town centre, friendly staff and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The fabulous location and very stylish hotel in a beautiful Georgian building.

The en-suite shower room was minute, with a sliding door as there was not enough room in the bedroom for a hinged one to open.

Our 'Executive Double' room (31 near Reception) was very spacious and well equipped: contemporary bathroom to high standard, LCD TV, new matching furniture and co-ordinated decor.

The bathroom was not spotless, but nevertheless, the room was spacious and the furniture was beautiful.

Helpful Staff and the very comfortable bed.

There was no shower in this particular bathroom, but I believe they have them in the larger rooms.

We did not have a meal in their restaurant as we were going out but enjoyed a Full English Breakfast in the morning.

There is a bar and restuarant inhouse, we had a nice breakfast, but otherwise it was quiet empty as it was a Sunday so we ate out.

Good bar, superb Breakfast and great for dinners.

Room price included full breakfast which made it no more expensive than a 'Premier Inn type' hotel, but with much higher room and restaurant standards.

The restaurant staff are excellent, however, and the night porter ( who has to man the reception AND tend the bar) is lovely and extremely helpful.

The reception is modern and uncluttered and the reception staff were young and welcoming.

Service was attentive but not intrusive and it was nice to see staff smiling.

Location is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Nowich and there is plenty of car parking.

The hotel is easy to find, plenty of free parking space in front and looks well kept.

Secondly, the website also claims there is plenty of parking for all the guests.

The room was very clean and fresh with lovely wooden floors (despite the odd creak here and there).
