Accommodation was spacious and relaxing with fantastic friendly and efficient staff at check-out. The restaurant was trendy for breakfast and dinner, we ordered rich dishes. The location was marvellous and particularly good and our room was newly remodelled.

I really enjoyed staying here, the breakfast was amazing and tasty with bowls rather than catering packs of cereal. The location was great and stunning, to the station which is a ten minute train ride to Edale or a 30 minute walk to Stanage Edge and the interior design was lovely. And it was also close enough to restaurant for dinner or breakfast.

The small queen room with excellent brand new bathroom, facilities worked for us. Great and stunning location not far from other sights.

Enjoyed the way our nicely furnished standard queen room with a four poster bed was. The hotel location was incredible and wonderful especially in the tea making area. And we were near centre of hathersage.

The place was reasonably clean and exceptional, had amazingly attentive and very caring staff in a member of staff. Amazing central location not far from restaurants close by and an Indian restaurant. Plus, the hotel was situated not very far from Hathersage Swimming Pool.

Lovely little and exceptional place, it has particularly helpful staff at check-out. The restaurant in the hotel is particularly good for dinner.

The room was double superior, the location was incredible central. You could walk to a market and a local shop. We ate at a trendy restaurant for breakfast and dinner. It was reasonably large and had a hair dryer, coffee, and Wi-Fi.

Well furnished and reasonably priced unit with comfortable beds. Simple check-in, late check-out.

By and large, it was easy base for sightseeing in Hathersage, had much fun and met exceptionally attentive staff who offered good service. The hotel was in a marvellous location not far from a lovely pub and Sheffield. Btw, Surprise View was a stone’s throw away. The breakfast served in the restaurant was savoury.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation with stunning setting close to the centre of Hathersage, which is a great base for exploring the Peak District as well as cosy and well finished public areas. Spotless and beautifully designed room with exceptionally comfortable bed, complimentary wireless internet, a lounge, and a bedside lamp. Efficient check in and smooth check out.

A little rude staff!

Great choice for trip. Extremely comfy hotel located close enough to the restaurant on the first evening a very high standard of cuisine and presentation, the northern Peak District, and beautiful Hathersage. Great food, especially helpful staff with attentive service and a good chef. The location incredible and marvellous to his establishment. For tea or coffee visit Pool Cafe nearby.

The hotel has a great location in a charming village just outside Sheffield. The rooms are well-appointed with comfortable beds and lovely views of the village. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is made with excellent local ingredients, including delicious bowls of cereal.

No major issues.
