This grand hotel is over 100 years old and has a classy lobby with chandeliers, oil canvasses, and dark wood paneling throughout. There is a Sanborns café with corkscrew-shaped columns in front of it. The rooms have beautiful headboards carved from wood and dressers and nightstands in a colonial style.

Overview

The three–star property is the most legendary hotel of Mexico, and is close to the U.S. Embassy, Monument of Independence, National Anthropology and History Museum, Reforma 222, and Museo de Cera.

Renovated in 2008, the property perfectly combines classical European style with the latest technology.

All 268 rooms come with a bathroom, a hair dryer, a direct dial telephone, televisions equipped with cable channels and a hire safe.

Dining facilities include two restaurants with local and international cuisine, Cafe Jardin and a bar with soft drinks, cocktails and light snacks.

The location in Zona Rosa is perfect and the best bed linen right after Hotel Sofitel. The rooms are ok, the price is right on, and the restaurant is good, great food, ecellent service and just right costs.
