Charlie Daniels museum downtown free and interesting, there's a big outlet shopping mall nearby, convient location to the Grand Old Opry.

It seems like they need more restaurants to choose from and maybe not all in that same location.

Others in our group marked their location as such: "Garden section, across from the Italian restaurant.

I also feel their shuttle to the airport is a ripoff, cheaper to just get a taxi.

A taxi from hotel to or from Downtown Nashville is a flat rate $25 without tip, one way.

Our room was a standard double in the Garden section and my roomate & I were thrilled with the Queen (not double) beds, the upscale bed linens, furniture style & quality & beautiful bathroom.

The room was very nice with luxurious bed linens and a large bathroom and separate breakfast nook with a fridge and coffee maker.

My room was nice and clean, with a ridiculously small bathroom and I had some odd housekeeping moments: bedspread folded & left on the floor, a half-dozen (clean) pillowcases on the bed, that sort of thing, but the room was always immaculate.

Our room was dated, but comfortable, with a large bathroom and uncomfortable bed.

I questioned her and said we had two confirmations saying we had a king room, and she said it was first come, first serve, but if we wanted to, we could "upgrade" at no charge to a queen suite, which had a queen pull out sofa bed as well.

The food at the Italian restaurant was great; the food that we ate at the other restaurants was above average.

Another problem is that around the front of the convention center there are several fast food-ish type restaurants -- a Chick-Fil-A, a barbeque restaurant, a smoothie place, and maybe one or two others.

We did end up in a bar of one of the restaurants unfortunately trhere were no tables outside so we were stuck with a smokey place to eat a salad & appetizers.

I can say the only problem we had was at the bar areas and restaurants getting someone to even acknowledge us and wait on us.

I had a great breakfast at the Cascades restaurant.

The staff were helpful, just as others have mentioned, from the maid to the concierge, to the checking-in staff, to the staff in the restaurants.

The staff at the Concierge Desk were the best and friendliest I have ever met.

In July 2005, they opened a beautiful spa and fitness facility with an indoor 25 meter pool complete with lap lane.

There was a $15 resort fee that covereds parking, 2 bottles of water daily, pools, fitness center, shuttle to the mall, etc.

You had to go into the entrance area for the spa, which confused us a first, but then you walked down a curving hallway to stairs (and elevator) to the indoor and outdoor pool areas.

This is for WI-FI, 20 mins of local calls, 20 mins of toll-free (who doesn’t have their own cell anyway?

The high-speed internet is described as complimentary in their ads.

D My room was not very clean, it appeared that it had not seen a vacuum (or a vacuum with a clean filter) in a very long time.

All excellent meals, all clean establishments (including the bathrooms) and excellent service.

Having found my dirty room, no bellman and generally starting off disappointed, it was another nail in the coffin to be seated at a filthy table where I had to clean my own chair off before I sat down.

I would agree with other reviews in that the rooms aren't particularly luxurious but they were comfortable, clean, well maintained and large.

The room is so clean and very nice resort very expensive better food.
