Gardens Hotel Manchester - 曼彻斯特

The location is extremely convenient and the hotel is centrally located near the train.

The location was terrific, five mins walk, if that from Piccadilly train station, three minutes walk from the fountains gardens and the main bus and tram stops, immediatly next to shops a, pubs.

Close to the meeting location in down-town and unusual to have pleasant soak in a budget hotel.

Easy access from the airport and close to central station.

We got the train from manchster airport into the city and as soon as we walked out of the train station we could see the hotel which was handy.

No AC, only a few TV channels (no news), elevator worked sometimes, bathroom had mildew, bed was tiny for two people--suggest you get twin beds, might be more comfortable even for a couple.

The twin room I stayed in was on the small side and rather cold (if you get a window room, it's single glazed) so I took the bed by the radiator and put an extra blanket on.

The room we moved to had a 4 poster bed, leather settee, bigger TV, iron & ironing board, trouser press & tea & coffee making facilities.

Read some of the reviews, and was a bit wary, but we booked one of the deluxe rooms with the four poster bed, and it was just the same as in the photo!

The single room just fitted the bed and had a pillar in the room so no space to move.

The bar is tiny & was staffed by restaurant staff.

Reception area was nice with a restaurant, bar, tv and seating area.

The rooms are clean and comfortable enough and the lobby/bar/restaurant look to have been refurbished recently.

You can eat your meals in your room too, if you pay a bit more, and there's 24 hour room service, a night porter, the hotel bar stays open till 2.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of bars, shops and restaurants (although not many open late on a Sunday!

The service was very good - reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the staff at breakfast were quick and helpful.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, room service was vwery good.

Staff on front desk ,and on telephone when booking, were very polite and knowledgable.

Every so often I could hear an incredibly loud mechanical noise which turned out to be the hotel lift.

The hotel had no parking facillities so we parked closeby at an NCP carpark - although expensive (?

The wireless net in the lobby area was very unstable during my stay.

Wireless internet in the loby is EXTREMELY poor, don't expect to use it - takes ~15 minutes to check your yahoo email.

Staff were very friendly, clean and was just a basic room as expected.

Location was excellent for train, also the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower was fantastic.

Our rooms were all clean which is the main thing.

The room was clean with everything I would need.

For £55 I expected a small room, clean and facilities to work - what I got was a small room, stinking and facilities that were barely functional.
